Welcome to Ogunde Living History Museum

The museum was established to give the public an opportunity to know the great pioneer of Nigerian theatre and movies and aldo give visitors a place to get up close and personal with some of the costumes and other showbiz memorabila that has been aquired since 1948.

Idealic location and historical artefacts

The Hubert Ogunde Museum is appropriately located in the idealic setting of Ososa Town where Ogunde grew up and the place where he first got his inspiration while watching masquerades and other street entertainers.

Meet the Manager

Adeleke Ogunde Museum Manager/Curator

Leke is an alumnus of the University of Lagos with a masters degree in Public Administration. A grandson of Late (Chief) Hubert Ogunde‎, he loves the art especially the theatre arts.

Leke's passion and enthusiasm to show visitors around the museum is indeed infectious and better experienced. Leke is in charge of making sure you enjoy your visit!
